Get flood warnings by phone, text or email

Heavy rainfall is forecast throughout Saturday 23/11/2024 and overnight into Sunday 24/11/2024. We expect river levels to rise as a result and consequently flooding of property, roads and low lying land is possible.

Areas most at risk include roads at Ashford Mill, Isle Brewers, Fivehead, the Norton sub Hambdon to Stratton road, the A356 and the B3165 at Chiselborough and the B3168 at Ilford Bridges. The lower River Parrett is forecast to be bankfull and overtopping could occur.

We are checking rivers for blockages and monitoring rainfall and river levels.

Consider acting on your flood plan if you have one and monitor local water levels and weather conditions.

This message will be updated by 11:00 AM on 24/11/2024, or as the situation changes.
