Get flood warnings by phone, text or email

Rising river levels this morning may lead to flooding. Flooding of roads and low lying land is possible, property flooding is not expected. Flooding is possible from 7:00 AM on 24/11/2024.

Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Cannington Brook, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Huntworth Business Park Rhyne, Stockmoor Rhyne, Hamp Brook and Durleigh Brook in Bridgwater, Cannington Brook at Cannington, Combwich Brook at Combwich and the Stogursey area. Further flooding is possible throughout the morning as river levels are high and forecast to rise further due to heavy rainfall.

We are closely monitoring the situation and Field Teams have been clearing debris from weed screens.

Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. Don't put yourself or others at risk.
