The Flood Warning has now been removed. However, a Flood Alert remains in force for the wider area, so flooding of roads and low lying land is still possible.
Only a few isolated showers are expected tomorrow (Tuesday), with minimal impact on catchments. Otherwise, the forecast remains predominantly dry.
In the early hours of Wednesday, there could be further rainfall but this will be confirmed closer to the time.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will issue further alerts or warnings if necessary.
Continue to take care on waterside roads and footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger.
Flood warning area: New Road in Sherborne to the Old Mill Farm area near Yeovil including the Smiths Bridge area near Bradford Abbas, Broadclose Farm, Yeovil Junction Station and Sharmans Bridge area, Newton Surmaville, Chudleigh Mill and Yeobridge Trade Park near Yeovil.
