High tides tomorrow morning may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible from 06:00AM to 10:00AM on Thursday 12 February 2026. 

Areas most at risk include Christchurch Harbour and tidal stretches of the Lower Stour and Avon. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at 1.22mAODN at 07:53am tomorrow morning, which is 0.75 m above tide tables, with westerly force 5 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level). Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of high tide times. 

We are closing flood gates and closely monitoring the situation. 

Avoid coastal roads and low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded .
