This is a Flood Alert update. River levels remain high at the Salisbury Bourne river gauge following the recent rainfall and high groundwater levels. Flooding is possible. Areas most at risk include tributaries between Aughton and Laverstock, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected. Further rainfall is expected over the weekend and we are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk, cycle or drive through flood water. People in this area should continue to monitor local water levels and weather conditions. This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 16 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
