High groundwater levels are expected to cause flooding.

Groundwater levels in Salisbury Plain are rising. Areas that could be affected include: Kingston Deverill, Monkton Deverill, Hill Deverill, Longbridge Deverill, Crockerton, Norton Bavant, Heytesbury, Corton, Upton Lovell, Boyton, Sherrington, Stockton and Bapton. The groundwater level at the Tilshead MOD borehole has risen to 109.14m, and is expected to rise into next week. Residents are advised to prepare property resilience measures and ensure that pumps are working where they have been installed. Residents may experience inundation of septic tanks and sewer systems.
