High river levels are expected to cause flooding. Flooding is expected on 25 January 2026 . Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Lower Dorset Stour, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Redhill and Wheatplot Home Sites. Following days of rain levels have risen on the Lower Dorset Stour. Further rain is forecast over the next 3 days that will keep levels high. We are closely monitoring the situation. Stay away from floodwater - it contains hidden dangers such as open manhole covers, sewage and chemicals. This message will be updated by 9:30AM on 26 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
