Flood warning for Middle Avon at Fordingbridge

River levels remain high due to recent rainfall and the high groundwater. Flooding is still possible. Areas most at risk include Roman Quay, Timbermill Court and Bowerwood in Fordingbridge. Although rain is expected today and tomorrow, the totals that are forecast are very low. We will continue to monitor the situation. Continue using any flood protection products you may have and acting on your flood plan if you have one. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. This message will be updated by 3:30PM on 20 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
