Get flood warnings by phone, text or email
River levels remain high and flooding is still possible. Areas most at risk include West Walk, The Close, De Vaux Place, St Nicholas Road, Harnham Road, Watersmeet Road and St Marys Road. River levels are slowly falling but remain high following recent rainfall and the high groundwater. There is very little rain forecast today and tomorrow but high baseflows will lead to river levels decreasing slowly. We will continue to monitor the situation. Activate any flood protection products you may have. Please take care and do not attempt to walk, cycle or drive through flood water. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. This message will be updated by 2:30PM on 20 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
Flood warning area: West Walk, The Close, De Vaux Place, St Nicholas Road, Harnham Road, Watersmeet Road and St Marys Road.
