River levels remain high due to recent rainfall and the high groundwater. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Middle Hampshire Avon, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around The Close, St Marys Cathedral, Salisbury Cathedral School, Bishops Walk, Exeter Street and Carmelite Way. The forecast is for a drier spell of weather over the next few days with only a few millimetres of rain expected. We will continue to monitor the situation. Please continue to use any flood protection products you may have and act on your flood plan if you have one. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
