Flood warning for River Asker from Askerswell to Bradpole

Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening from 6:30 PM on 24/11/2024.

Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Asker, Mangerton River, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around properties in Askerswell, Uploders, Yondover and Loders; properties and roads in upper reach villages, West Milton, Powerstock, Askerswell, Uploders, Yondover and Loders around the railway bridge.

Weather conditions are expected to improve tomorrow. We are closely monitoring the situation.

Please consider activating any property flood protection products and start acting on your flood plan if you have one. Move family, pets and cars to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water if it is safe to do so. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
