In Bulverhythe, minor flooding will continue to affect Bexhill Road Recreation Ground, but river levels are slowly falling. In Crowhurst, river levels are near to normal. There remains uncertainty in the weather forecast, particularly around locations of precipitation, and whether it falls as rain or snow. 5-15mm of rain is possible Wednesday afternoon. If the higher amounts occur, minor flood impacts could be possible from 20:00 08/01/2025. Potentially affecting Crowhurst Recreation Ground, and gardens of a small number of riverside properties in Crowhurst. Flooding in Bulverhythe is not expected to extend beyond the Recreation Ground. Very little rain is forecast Thursday to Sunday. In Crowhurst the river should peak lower than recent days, and begin to fall by Thursday afternoon, returning to normal again Friday. In Bulverhythe, river levels will remain higher than normal until next week. As a precaution, please keep flood protection products installed in Crowhurst, if you have them.
