High river levels on Saturday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 20 December 2025 from 02:00, as a lot of rain (50mm) fell on Thursday.
Flooding could affect the A29, properties on Lower Street and Swan Corner, Pulborough and Bridge Cottages, Greatham. Over the high tides (23:15 on 19/12/2025 and 11:30 on 20/12/2025), water will be high up banks near Houghton Bridge, Amberley and near St Edmunds Cottage, Houghton. Impacts in Arundel are not likely. Only a small amount of rain is forecast over the next 5 days. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in Pulborough by 15:00 on 20/12/2025.
