The River Lox is higher than normal, but falling following Friday's rain. Through Sunday, minor flood impacts will continue to affect fields, roads, and gardens near Brewhurst Lane and Loxwood. Only isolated showers are forecast Sunday. River levels are unlikely to rise, and should continue to fall. Unsettled weather could continue throughout February. On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday bands of rain are forecast. If as much rain falls as predicted, from Tuesday morning, minor flooding could again affect fields, roads, and gardens of isolated riverside properties at Loxley Bridge on Wrotham Hill, Dunsfold and Petworth Road, Chiddingfold. Also gardens near Brewhurst Mill on Brewhurst Lane and the Onslow Arms, Loxwood. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have. Continue to operate private water control structures at Brewhurst. This message will be updated by 20:00 09/02/2026.
