High river levels on Tuesday may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible on 03 February 2026 as more rain is forecast (up to 30mm).

Flooding could affect Marymead Close and the Simeon Street recreation ground. Rain is forecast to continue until Wednesday 04/02/2026. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce by 06:00 04/02/2026. With the current forecast we do not expect property to flood, but we will issue further advice if the flood risk increases. If required, we will re-deploy the drop boards at Simeon Street Recreation ground.

We are closely monitoring the situation .

Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and the recreation ground which may be needed as a flood storage area.
