High river levels on Tuesday may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible on 27 January 2026 , as a lot of rain (35mm) fell on Tuesday.

Flooding will affect properties nearest the river in Chandlers Ford through Hiltingbury, Cuckoo Bushes, Common Road, Valley Road, Merrieleas Drive, and Mead Road. In Eastleigh, the river may flood Fleming Park, gardens and impact property at Kingfisher Road, Pennine Way, Skipton Road, Magpie Lane, Brookside Way, Stoneham Lane and Stoneham Way. Rain has started to clear the area. Showers are forecast this evening (27/01/2026). The river level has now peaked and will decrease slowly over the next 24 hours. Flooding impacts are expected to continue throughout much of today (27/01/2026).
