Flood warning for Brockenhurst and Boldre on the River Lymington

High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Thursday. 

Flooding is expected on 18 December 2025 from 20:00, as a lot of rain (48mm) has fallen today. 

Flooding will affect roads and watersplash areas (Brookley Road) and riverside property at Martin's Road and Balmer Lawn. Property flooding could also occur at Meerut Road, Fathersfield and Butts Lawn.

Only a small amount of rain is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in Brockenhurst by 01:00 on 19/12/2025. 

We are checking rivers for blockages . 

Activate any flood protection products you may have . Avoid driving through swollen fords in Brockenhurst.
