Flood alert for River Mole and its tributaries from Kinnersley Manor to South Hersham

The Flood Alert for the River Mole remains in force. Further rainfall is forecasted tomorrow afternoon and overnight into Monday morning which could cause river levels to rise again. Property flooding is not expected.

Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Mole, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around areas between Kinnersley Manor and Sidlow, although there may be other areas of minor flooding.

We are closely monitoring the situation and clearing debris from weed screens.

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.

Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.

This message will be updated by 9:00 AM tomorrow morning 23/02/2025, or as the situation changes.

Flood alert area: River Mole and its tributaries from Kinnersley Manor to South Hersham, including Sidlow, Leigh, Betchworth, Brockham, Pixham, Dorking, Mickleham, Leatherhead, Fetcham, Stoke D'Abernon and Cobham.
