Flood alert for Lower River Colne and Frays River

River levels are rising on the Lower Colne due to heavy rainfall today, Sunday 24th November.

Flooding to low lying land and roads is forecast to affect locations near the Colne, Frays, Wraysbury, Poyle Channel, Staines Moor and Longford overnight.

Further rainfall is forecast into Monday.

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area.

Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.

This message will be updated by 10am on Monday 25th November, or as the situation changes.

Flood alert area: The Lower River Colne and Frays River at Uxbridge, West Drayton, Poyle and Stanwell Moor.
