Flood alert for Lower River Colne and Frays River

River levels remain high but steady on the Lower Colne following recent rainfall. Flooding of roads and low lying land is possible.

Flooding is affecting locations near the River Colne, Frays River, Wraysbury River and Poyle Channel, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Longford. No flooding to properties is expected.

Some showers are forecast for Friday 31/01/25 but no significant rainfall is expected in the next 5 days.

We are closely monitoring the situation and continue to monitor rainfall and river levels.

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water and monitor local water levels and weather conditions.
