High river levels today may lead to flooding.

Flooding is possible on 14 February 2026 and into 15 February 2026.

Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected, especially in the Alton area. Levels are currently stable, but further heavy rain is expected early tomorrow morning. River levels will remain responsive to further rainfall.

We are closely monitoring the situation.

Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.

This message will be updated by 8pm 15 February 2026 or as the situation changes.

Flood alert area: Upper River Wey including Alton, Farnham, Bordon, Frensham, Tilford, Godalming, Guildford and Peasmarsh.
