Flood alert for Lower River Wey

Get flood warnings by phone, text or email

Property flooding is not currently expected.

River levels are rising on the Lower Wey, as a result of heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is possible, especially in the Brooklands area.

Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours, with some localised heavier rainfall in some areas. We are monitoring the situation.

Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses.

Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels.

This message will be updated by tomorrow morning, 26/02/25, or as the situation changes.

Flood alert area: Lower River Wey including Old Woking, Byfleet, and Weybridge and the West Clandon Stream at Send.
