Flooding is possible - be prepared

Flood alert for Chertsey Bourne

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels have remained steady on the Chertsey Bourne as a result of the recent heavy rainfall. No further heavy rainfall is forecast for the next few days, only lighter showers, therefore we expect river levels to continue to fall. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff will be out today checking for blockages. Please remain safe and aware of your local surroundings and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated tomorrow morning 23/10/21, or if the situation changes
