Flood alert for Chertsey Bourne

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels remain high on the Chertsey Bourne, especially in the Free Prae Road area. Therefore, flooding of roads and low lying land is expected to continue today. Levels have stabilised on the Chertsey Bourne but remain sensitive to further rainfall. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please remain safe and aware of your local surroundings and refer to the 'River and Sea levels in England's webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 28/11/22, or as the situation changes.
