Flood alert for Cut

Property flooding is not currently expected.

River levels are rising on the Cut as a result of a period of sustained rain. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected later this evening, 26/09/2024, especially in the Warfield area.

Further rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. Our staff are checking and clearing trash screens.

We will continue to monitor the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels.

This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 27/09/2024, or as the situation changes.

Flood alert area: Cut including Brockhill, Warfield, Bracknell, Paley Street and Holyport.
