Get flood warnings by phone, text or email
Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are rising on the River Thames as a result of heavy rainfall from Storm Bert and water making its way downstream. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected from this afternoon, 25/11/2024, especially in areas closest the River Thames around Goring. The forecast is predominantly dry today with further rainfall forecast from tomorrow night (26/11/2024). We expect river levels to continue rising over the next few days as water moves downstream. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Do not drive through flood water. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated by tomorrow morning, 26/11/2024, or as the situation changes.
