Get flood warnings by phone, text or email
Rising river levels today may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 16 January 2026 .
Flooding of low lying land and roads is possible, especially in areas near Wolvercote that are close to the river. River levels are high due to persistent heavy rain yesterday. Further isolated showers are expected today, Friday, and further rain is likely overnight. We expect river levels to rise slowly as water moves through the catchment, and to remain high over the weekend.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses . Go to River levels online for updates on current river levels.
