Flooding is possible - be prepared

Flood alert for River Thames for Henley, Remenham, Medmenham and its tributaries

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are rising on the River Thames as a result of a period of sustained rain. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is possible later this evening, 28/03/24, especially in the Henley, Remenham, and Medmenham areas. Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. We expect river levels to continue to rise. Our staff are managing weirs on the River Thames to reduce flood risk. We are monitoring the situation. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels, and avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated by tomorrow morning, 28/03/24, or as the situation changes.
