Flood alert for River Thames for Henley, Remenham, Medmenham and its tributaries

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are high but beginning to stabilise on the River Thames following recent heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today (30/01/25) in the Henley and Medmenham area. No rainfall is forecast for today. Some further rainfall is possible tomorrow (31/01/25). River levels are stabilising and are forecast to start slowly declining. We are monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 31/01/25, or as the situation changes.

Flood alert area: River Thames for Henley, Remenham and Medmenham; including Middle and Lower Assendon on the Assendon Stream, and Skirmett and Hambleden on the Hambledon Brook.
