Rising river levels this morning may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 27 January 2026 .
Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected this morning, especially for areas closest to the River Dun in and around Hungerford. Heavy and persistent rainfall will continue this morning, clearing by early afternoon leaving a predominantly dry afternoon and night. Tomorrow is expected to be predominantly dry. River levels on the River Dun are expected to rise through this morning. While levels on the River Kennet are currently below the flood risk threshold, levels are expected to rise through this morning in response to ongoing rainfall.

Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .
