Property flooding is possible.

A flood warning is in force for the River Lambourn from Donnington to Newbury.

River levels on the Lambourn and its tributaries are high but starting to fall very slowly following recent rainfall combined with high groundwater levels. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue over the coming days and flooding of properties remains possible. The forecast is predominantly dry today with some rain likely overnight. We expect river levels will remain high on the River Lambourn through today, (29/02/24) and overnight.
