Flood alert for River Enborne and Foudry Brook

Get flood warnings by phone, text or email

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are rising on the River Enborne and Foudry Brook as a result of Storm Bert. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected tomorrow morning 23/11/24. Further rainfall which could be heavy at times is forecast today, overnight and tomorrow morning. We expect river levels to remain sensitive to the heavier bands of rain. Our staff have been checking and clearing trash screens and we are monitoring the situation. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated tomorrow, 24/11/24, or as the situation changes.

Flood alert area: River Enborne from Gore End down to Aldermaston including the Ecchinswell Brook and the Kingsclere Brook; also the Foudry Brook and its tributaries from Scotsman's Green to Green Park including Stratfield Mortimer and Tadley on the Bishopswood Stream.
