Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are high, but still within banks along most of the River Pang. In the Tidmarsh area river levels on the River Pang are high but falling slowly. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue, especially in area close to the river around Tidmarsh. Further showers are forecast for today and tomorrow. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days and responsive to further rainfall. We are monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. Do not drive through flood water. This message will be updated Tuesday morning, 25/02/25, or as the situation changes.
Flood alert area: River Pang from East Ilsley to Pangbourne, including Compton, Hampstead Norreys, Frilsham, Bucklebury, Stanford Dingley, Bradfield and Tidmarsh; and the Sulham Brook from Theale to Pangbourne including Sulham.
