Get flood warnings by phone, text or email

River levels remain high along the River Thame. Therefore flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today, especially in the Aylesbury, Thame, Stadhampton, Drayton St Leonards and Dorchester areas. Heavy and persistent rainfall will continue this morning, clearing by early afternoon leaving a predominantly dry afternoon and night. Tomorrow is expected to be predominantly dry. Levels upstream of Thame are starting to rise in response to ongoing rainfall. It is expected that levels will rise further today and remain high over the coming days.

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Avoid low lying footpaths and roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Go to River levels online for updates on current river levels.

This message will be updated by 12:00 pm on 28 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
