River levels have risen today on the Bear Brook following recent heavy rainfall. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue this evening and overnight, 26/09/2024. Further rain is forecast overnight into tomorrow morning. We expect levels to remain high overnight and sensitive to further rainfall.
Our staff are checking and clearing trash screens in the area and we are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses.
