High river levels may lead to flooding.
River levels are high on the River Windrush. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today, 14 March 2026, including the areas around Bourton on the Water and Newbridge. This evening and overnight is forecast to be mostly dry. Further rain, some of which could be heavy, is forecast for Sunday. River levels are high but falling slowly. We expect levels to continue to fall slowly over the coming days. River levels remain sensitive to further rainfall.
