Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are rising on the River Ray and Swinbourne as a result of Storm Bert. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected tomorrow morning 24/11/24. Further rainfall which could be heavy at times is forecast today, overnight and tomorrow morning. We expect river levels to remain sensitive to the heavier bands of rain. Our staff have been checking and clearing trash screens and we are monitoring the situation. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated tomorrow, 24/11/24, or as the situation changes.
