Flood alert for River Thames at Trowlock Island

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are forecast to rise on the River Thames due to high tides, combined with high flows from upstream due to sustained rainfall. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is possible today 29/03/24 on Trowlock Island. The next high tide is at 16:45 on 29/03/2024, and is forecast to reach between 4.98 and 5.28 metres. The following high tide is at 04:45 on 30/03/24, and the peak is forecast to reach between 4.97 and 5.27 metres. Further showers are forecast today, while tomorrow 30/03/24 is expected to be mainly dry. Our staff are managing weirs on the River Thames to reduce flood risk.
