Flood warning for River Thames for Shiplake, Lower Shiplake and Wargrave

Property flooding is expected. River levels are rising on the River Thames as a result of heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of property and roads is expected later this afternoon, 27/11/24, especially in the Basmore Lane, Bolney Road, and Loddon Drive areas. No further rainfall is forecast, but we expect river levels to continue rising over the next 24 hours. We are monitoring the situation. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Avoid contact with flood water. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated by this evening, 27/11/24, or as the situation changes.
