Property flooding is expected.
River levels are increasing on the River Thames following heavy rainfall earlier in the week from Storm Bert. Therefore, flooding of properties, low lying land, and roads is likely overnight, 27/11/2024. Areas most at risk are properties in Clifton Hampden, Dorchester and Little Wittenham.
This evening and overnight are forecast to be mainly dry. River levels are still rising and may continue to rise again in response to water moving downstream.
We are monitoring the situation. Avoid contact with flood water. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels.
