Heavy rain has fallen in the Nene catchment. This is causing River Nene to rise and is forecast to continue to rise through Monday 25th November. Low lying areas are already flooded and we now expect properties close to the River Nene and tributaries to be affected through the morning. Low lying properties in the Northampton Marina are expected to be affected first. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine on 26/11/24 or before if the situation changes.
