Get flood warnings by phone, text or email

Heavy rain is currently falling in the Nene catchment and will continue throughout Sunday 24th November. This is causing Harpers Brook to rise and is forecast to continue to rise through the night. Low lying areas near to the river are already flooded and we now expect properties to be affected this evening onwards. Low lying properties near the river on main street in Sudborough are expected to be affected first. Further rainfall is forecast overnight and therefore river levels will remain high. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine by on 25/11/24, or before if the situation changes.
