High water levels are expected to cause flooding this evening.
Flooding is expected from the evening of 07 February 2026 .
No further heavy rainfall is forecast, however river levels will remain high. During periods of high tide, the river will be unable to discharge into the sea, resulting in tide lock conditions. This is likely to lead to localised flooding at Surfleet reservoir. This Flood Warning is now in force for the following tide lock period(s): From 21:00 on 07/02/2026 to 00:15 on 08/02/2026.
