Tide locking, where high tides restrict normal drainage of the river out to sea, this afternoon may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible Flooding is possible from 5:45pm on Thursday 1st January to 10:30pm on Friday 2nd January 2026. 

We expect to see high water levels in Brundall and Reedham riverside areas. River levels will remain high over the next few days. 

We are closely monitoring the situation . 

Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded .
