Get flood warnings by phone, text or email

High river levels overnight have led to flooding.

Flooding is possible on 16 January 2026 . River levels are high following rainfall yesterday.

Areas most at risk are low lying roads and riverside areas on the Deben from Debenham to Ufford, including Framsden, Earl Soham, Easton, Glevering and Wickham Market, and on the Rivers Lark and Fynn around Witnesham, Tuddenham St Martin, Playford and Grundisburgh. The weather forecast is improving, and we expect levels to start returning to normal soon.

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are not expecting the situation to escalate.

Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .

This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 17 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
