On Monday, heavy rain fell in the South Forty Foot catchment which has caused water levels around the area to rise. No further rain is forecast for the next few days, however, we expect water levels to remain high today, Tuesday 7th January. Stay safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine on 08/01/25, or before if the situation changes.
Flood warning area: Isolated properties and villages east South Forty Foot and tributaries including property around Baker's Bridge, West Low Grounds, Bicker Fen, Surfleet Fen, Pinchbeck North Fen, Northgate and Bourne North Fen.
