On Monday, heavy rain fell in the South Forty Foot catchment which has caused the South Forty Foot Drain to rise. No further rain is forecast for the next few days, however, we expect water levels to remain high today, Tuesday 7th January. Stay safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine on 08/01/25, or before if the situation changes.
Flood warning area: Isolated properties and villages west South Forty Foot from Dyke Fen upstream, via Caswell's Bridge to Donington High Bridge on Horbling Fen downstream.
