Flood warning for Barlings Eau and tributaries between Langworth and Bardney

High river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening. 

Flooding is expected from the evening of 28 February 2026 . 

The Barlings Eau catchment saw heavy rainfall overnight on the 27 February 2026 and throughout this morning, and river levels are responding. No further significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days, however, we expect water levels to remain high. 

We are closely monitoring the situation .
