Get flood warnings by phone, text or email

River levels are now falling but remain high in places.

This information is correct as of 15:30 Tuesday 4th February. The causeway at Welney has some water on the road and road edges. Due to the uneven surface of the roads, water may be deeper in places. The Environment Agency are liaising with Norfolk Highways, who will decide whether to close the road. For more information about the causeway at Welney, please visit the 'Welney Flood Watch' Facebook group. Please note that the content of this group does not represent the views of the Environment Agency. There are currently no issues on Earith or Sutton Gault causeways.

We will update this message by 8am tomorrow, 05/02/2025.

Flood alert area: Hundred Foot Washes, also known as the Ouse Washes, including the causeways at Earith, Sutton Gault and Welney.
