Rising river levels today may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible on 13 February 2026 River levels have responded to rainfall today. 

Areas most at risk are around Alconbury Brook at Hamerton, The Alconburys, Little Stukeley and Brampton. You are advised to move cars out of these flood risk areas. The Hamerton gauge is on a regular scanning cycle. We are not expecting the situation to escalate, or to issue any further warning messages at this time. The forecast is dry tomorrow Saturday 14 February, with further rainfall on Sunday 15 February. 

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . 

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
