River levels are rising steadily in response to the recent rainfall from Sotrm Bert.
Flooding is expected over the course of today (25/11/2024)..
Areas most at risk are Padbury Mill, Thornborough Mill, Thornton College at Thornton, Beachampton and The Mill at Passenham. The A422 is at risk of being flooded, as well as the roads between Leckhampstead and Wicken, Leckhampstead and Thornborough, and the A422 to Thornton.
The weather forecast is for drier conditions today and tomorrow.
Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation.
