Flood warning for River Tove at Towcester and Cosgrove

River levels are rising steadily in response to the recent rainfall. Flooding is possible over the next few hours and overnight tonight, Sunday 24 November 2024. Areas most at risk are Towcester Mill, Northampton Road between Stoke Bruerne and Grafton Regis, Bozenham Mill Lane, Castlethorpe Mill, and The Priory and Leisure Park at Cosgrove. There is no significant rainfall forecast over the next 24 hours. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 10am tomorrow, Monday 25 November 2024.
