High river levels today may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from overnight on 09 January 2026 .
River levels are high following heavy rainfall from Storm Goretti. Areas most at risk are riverside areas of the River Stour between Sudbury and Dedham. In Langham, local roads are prone to flooding and cars may become stranded on Sky Hall Hill Road, Wick Road and Lower Farm Road.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . Avoid low lying roads near rivers which may now be flooded.
